Personnel qualifications

Persons who use this device must have read
and understood the instruction manual.

Purpose of use

2.4.1 Intended use

• Measurement of wood moisture of veneers,
trim, boards and other wood products.

2.4.2 Improper use

• Use of the product without having read the
instruction manual.
• Use of the product outside of the limita-
tions of use.
• Measurement of frozen wood.
• Measurement of moving wood.
(The wood to be measured must be sta-
tionary during the measurement. The
measuring plate must not be moved over
the wood during the measurement.)
• Undercutting the minimum wood thickness
(refer to chapter 3.1 Technical data for de-
tails).
• Measurement on electrically conductive
surfaces.
