Fuelling of the device

• Stop the engine and allow it to cool down.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Avoid eye and skin contact.
• Strictly follow the instructions under "Safe handling with fuels".
• Clean the area around the filler neck. Contamination in the tank may result in
malfunction.
• Carefully open the tank cap (16) to allow possible overpressure to relax.
• Shake the container once more before pouring the fuel mixture into the tank.
• Fill the fuel tank up to a maximum of 80% of its capacity.
Carefully fill the fuel mixture up to the lower edge of the filler neck.
Avoid spilling of fuel or oil. Clean the device immediately when you have spilled fuel or oil.
• Make sure that no fuel can come into the soil.
• Carefully close the tank cap after fuelling and check that it does not get loose during
operation.
• Check that there is no leakage on the tank cap and fuel lines. If there are leaks this
product may not be started.
• Clean the tank cap and the area around it.
Go away at least three metres from the fuelling place to start the chain saw.
