4. The forward voltage drop in mV will be displayed.
If the diode is reversed, figure "1" will be shown.
TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
1. set RANGE switch to ˚C or ˚F position, it will
display room temperature in ˚C or ˚F value.
2. Connect the black plug of K-type thermocouple to
"COM" jack, and the red plug to "Ω" jack.
3. The display will read Temperature value.
NOTE: The TP-01 K-type thermocouple Max.
Operating temperature of Probe:
(300ºC /572ºF short-term). The sensor supplied with
the instrument is an ultra fast response naked bead
thermocouple suitable for many general purpose
applications.
FREQUENCY MEASURE
1. Set the rotary switch at the required "Hz" position.
2. Connect black test lead to "COM" terminal and
red test lead to the "Ω" input terminal.
3. Connect test leads to measuring points and read
the display value.
Note: Do not apply more than 250V rms to the input.
Indication is possible a voltage higher than 100V rms,
but reading maybe out of specification.
AUDIBLE CONTINUITY TEST
1. Red lead to "Ω", Black lead to "COM".
2. RANGE switch to " " position.
3. Connect test leads to two points of circuit to be
tested. If the resistance is lower then 30Ω±20Ω,
the buzzer will sound.
