15. Do not cover the battery while operating the product; do not place it on the heating element or
under it while the unit is in operation.
16. Excessively long use of heating bandages running at a high temperature may produce skin burns.
Avoid falling asleep with heating bandage in operation.
17. It is not recommended to apply the bandage directly on the skin for persons with sensitive skin. Take
care to inspect frequently the skin in order to avoid skin burns. Disconnect the bandage immediately
if you note burning or if the skin turns red or presents inflammations.
18. Do not leave the product unattended while in operation.
19. In any circumstances avoid wetting the battery and the charger. Do not use the product if wet.
20. Do not expose the product to environmental agents (rain, sun, etc.).
21. Keep the bandage, the battery and the charger away from fire.
22. Do not use creams or body oils that could damage the bandage.
23. Detach the battery and unplug the charger while not in use.
24. Detach the battery before cleaning the bandage.
25. For bandage cleaning please follow instructions in a specific section of this manual.
26. Do not hold the product by the battery to move or carry it.
27. Inspect the product frequently for signs of wear or damage. If these signs appear, do not use the
product and take it to an authorized service centre.
28. This product has no parts intended to be repaired or replaced by the user. If any part of the product
fails, or the product does not perform properly, or if there is any other kind of anomaly, do not
attempt to repair it and instead take the product to an authorized service centre.

30. Do not use the battery with other appliances.
31. Do not use the battery if the connector is damaged or presents signs of rust.
32. Never short-circuit the battery. Avoid keeping it together with small metallic objects. Do not wrap it
in any conductor material.
33. Do not attempt to disassemble or alter any part of the battery.
34. Keep the battery away from children.
35. Keep the battery away from fire and water.
36. Battery is supplied half charged. Proceed to fully charge it before use.
37. To recharge the battery use only the supplied charger.
38. Once the battery is fully charged unplug it from the charger. Do not leave it plugged in when unne-
cessary.
39. Batteries gradually self-discharge with time. Proceed to fully charge the battery before each use.
40. Before storing the battery for a long period of time half charge it as explained in a specific section of
this manual. Repeat the operation at least every half a year.
41. The capacity of rechargeable batteries gradually decreases. The supplied battery is designed to provide
300 discharge /charge cycles.
42. After a battery has reached the end of its lifetime take it to a green collecting point in order to assure
the subsequent dispatch of the discarded elements for recycling, treatment and environmentally
compatible disposal. Do not dispose it in fire or in water.
