► If the contacts are discolored (arrow):. Use a fine
sandpaper (grade P600) to remove the discoloration and
clean the contacts until they are bright.

16.1 Servicing and repairing the battery

The battery requires no servicing and cannot be repaired by
the user.
► If the battery has a malfunction or is damaged: Do not use
the battery and contact your STIHL servicing dealer.
