5-2. Switching on the recorder

Turn on the main power switch on the rear panel, and then press the power switch on the front
panel. It takes about 1 minute to get the unit started.

5-3. Connecting the PC to the recorder

To hook up the recorder directly to the PC, use a cross LAN cable.
To connect the recorder via a hub to the PC, use a straight LAN cable.
Enter the recorder's URL in the Internet Explorer address bar.
The initial setting is "http://192.168.1.200/".
A pop-up window opens and you are asked for the user name and password. Enter the
administrator's or operator's user name as well as the password, and click on
initial settings are "admin" for the administrator's user name and "1" for the password. The
operator's user name is not registered.
When the user name and password are correct, the initial screen shows up.
