Setting the File No. Function
You can set the file numbers so that they reset each time Memory
Card is formatted, or so that they count up continuously.
1. Move [POWER/MODE Selector] down to turn
on the CAM.
N The Video Record screen appears.
2. Move [POWER/MODE Selector] down again to
select
System Settings
mode and press the
[OK] button.
N The system is automatically converted into the
selected mode in two seconds even when the
[OK] button is not pressed.
N The System Settings menu appears.
3. Move the [W/T] button to select <System> and
press the [√] button.
4. Move the [W/T] button to select <File No.> and
press the [√] button.
5. Move the [W/T] button to select the desired
setting and press the [OK] button.
N Reset: When the Memory Card is formatted,
the file number resets to its default
value. (100-0001)
N Series: Numbering is continuous between the
Memory Cards, so that the first file
number assigned on a new Memory Card
is 1 more than the last file number
assigned on the previous Memory Card.
Notes
✤ If you select [œ ] button in the menu, the previous
menu appears.
✤ After you finish setting, press the [Record/Stop]
button to exit from the menu screen.
✤ When you set file number to 'Series', each file is
assigned a different number avoiding duplication of
numbers. It is convenient when you want to manage
your files on a PC.

1. Baje el [Selector POWER/MODE] (ENC./MODO) para
encender la CAM.
N Aparece la pantalla Video Record (Grab. vídeo).
2. Baje de nuevo el [Selector POWER/MODE]
(ENC./MODO) para seleccionar el modo
Settings (Ajustes sistema)
y pulse el botón [OK].
N El sistema cambia automáticamente al modo
seleccionado en dos segundos incluso aunque no
se pulse el botón [OK].
N Aparece el menú System Settings (Ajustes
sistema).
3. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar <System>
(Sistema) y pulse el botón [√].
4. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar <File No.>
(Archivo nº) y pulse el botón [√].
5. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar el ajuste que
desea y pulse el botón [OK].
N Reset (Reinic.): Cuando se formatea la
tarjeta de memoria, se reinicia el número de
archivo en su valor por defecto. (100-0001)
N Series: La numeración es continua entre las
tarjetas de memoria, de forma que el primer
número de archivo asignado en una nueva tarjeta
de memoria sea 1 más que el último número de
archivo asignado en la tarjeta de memoria anterior.
Notas
✤ Si selecciona el botón [œ ] en el menú, aparece el
menú anterior.
✤ Tras finalizar el ajuste, pulse el botón [Record/Stop]
(Grabar/Detener) para salir de la pantalla menu
(menú).
✤ Cuando se define el número de archivo en 'Series', a
cada archivo se le asigna un número diferente evitando
la duplicación de números. Es conveniente cuando se
desea administrar los archivos en un PC.
