CONNECT EQUIPMENT
Plug your equipment's AC power cord into one of the receptacle
outlets on your MXPOWER surge protector. For 120 V (15 A and 20 A),
connect only one machine at a time, so you can ensure that each
individual equipment is under the current limitation of the surge
protector and therefore will operate properly.

TURN ON YOUR EQUIPMENT
Turn all connected equipment on.
LED Display
For the 120 V and 208 V / 240 V 15 A models, the LED display will start blinking
at 13.5 A
For the 120 V and 208 V / 240 V 20 A models, the LED display will start blinking
at 18 A
For the 208 V / 240 V 30 A model, the LED display will start blinking at 27 A
On the LED display you should see a number
representing the total real-time output current as well as
the voltage. This means the surge protector is operational.
If output current / voltage is not displayed, the product
is defective. Contact Customer Service for product
replacement.
You should see a GREEN light under "Ground OK."
If the "Ground OK" light is off, this means the
line and neutral connections are reversed in
the wall outlet. Call an electrician to correct the
outlet's wiring.
The LED display indicates the combined current
consumption of all connected equipment as well as
the voltage. It will switch from one to another every
5 seconds. If it is blinking, it indicates that the current
consumption has reached 90% of the surge protector's
current limit. This will inform the user that the load
is close to the limit.
