ACCESSORIES TO BE USED WITH
THIS POWER TOOL
Lambswool pad up to Ø200 mm with hook-
and-loop fastening;
Foam sponge up to Ø200 mm with hook-and-
loop fastening;
M14 flexible backing pad with hook-and-loop
fastening.

Operation

These power tools are supplied from single-
phase alternating current mains only. They are
double insulated according to EN 60745-1,
IEC 60745-1 and can be connected to grounded
or not grounded sockets. This power tool is radio
suppressed in compliance with EMC Directive.
The basic use of this power tool is to apply paste
and polish cars, boats, terracotta and ceramic
tiles, metal articles, painted surfaces. The proc-
essed surface becomes shiny after being pol-
ished with the accessory.
This power toll is not designed for CUTTING or
SANDING!

ing from the described herewith and all risks
for your health resulting from such use are en-
tirely on YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY!
PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION
▪ Make sure the power supply voltage corre-
sponds to the value indicated on the name
plate with technical data of the tool.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in
order. If the replacement of the supply cord is
necessary, this has to be done by the manu-
facturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety
hazard.
WARNING: Always switch off and un-
plug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
▪ In case the work area is remote from the pow-
er source, use as short as practicable exten-
sion cord with proper cross-section.
▪ Check that the auxiliary handle is properly
mounted and reliably tightened.
SELECTING THE ACCESSORIES AND
PREPARATION fOR OPERATION
The selection of accessory depends on the in-
tended operation. Generally the permitted op-
erations with this power tool are the following:
- Applying polishing paste by a sponge (9);
- Polishing furniture, cars, boats and various
painted or varnished surfaces with a sponge (9)
or lambswool pad (10).
Familiarise yourself with the instructions for
preparation for work with the corresponding ac-
cessory. Perform accurately the described pro-
cedures for mounting, replacement and remov-
ing the corresponding accessories.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
The polisher is secured against unintentional
switching on.
Switching on: Select the necessary speed by ro-
tating the electronic regulator (8). Move the ON/
OFF switch (5) forward.
