1. Basic functions
This camera is a CMOS camera with multiple interfaces (HDMI+WLAN+SD card, "X" stands for multi-
ple interfaces) and autofocus function (F stands for autofocus). The image selector of the camera is
an ultra-high performance CMOS sensor from Sony. HDMI + WLAN are used as a data transmission
interface to an HDMI screen or computer.
When using the HDMI output, XCamView is loaded and a camera control panel and a toolbar are
displayed on the HDMI screen. In this case, the USB mouse can be used to set the camera, search and
compare captured images and play videos.
The HDMI output can be used to easily obtain a sharp image by means of the integrated automatic /
manual focus function. Manual focusing via the coarse / fine adjustment knob on the microscope is
not necessary.
To use the WLAN output, disconnect the mouse from the device, plug in the USB WLAN adapter and
connect the WLAN port on the computer to the camera. The video stream can now be transferred to
the computer using the state-of-the-art software.
