CAUTION

Air hoses laid on the ground.
Avoid or pay close attention.
• Protect yourself and other persons, ani-
mals, property, and the environment by
taking the necessary protective measures
and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage,
financial
harm or risk of accident.
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: triggering in open spaces; us-
ing kinked / damaged grease hoses; hold-
ing the claw coupling closed; incorrect
disposal of leftover materials / cleaning
agents.
• Prohibited: Use in medical / food indus-
try; incorrect processing equipment; spark
formation.

2.4 Commissioning

Before start-up:
1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Do not use below 5° C.
Filling with grease cartridges or with
loose grease via grease pump:
Grease cartridges:
1. Attach grease hose (item 04) to grease
gun and tighten using spanner wrench.
2. Unscrew the grease reservoir (item 05).
3. Oil / lubricate grease piston (item 09)

4. Open the cartridge at the insertion open-
ing.
5. Push the cartridge over the grease piston
(item 09) with a rotational movement
(fig. 2a). Make sure the insertion direc-
tion is correct.
6. Pull back the handle piece (item 07) and
the grease cartridge all the way and se-
cure in position using the safety lever
(item 08).
7. Open the cartridge.
8. Screw on the grease reservoir (item 05)
(figure 2b).
9. Push the safety lever (item 08) and
press the handle piece into the grease
reservoir.
Loose grease via grease pump:
1. Install grease hose (item 04) on grease
gun and tighten using spanner wrench.
2. Pull back the handle piece (item 07) on
the installed grease reservoir (Pos. 05)
as far as it will go and secure it in place
using the safety lever (item 08).
3. Connect the filling hose of the grease
pump at the filling nipple (item 06) and
connect the grease reservoir.
4. Disconnect the filling hose of the grease
pump.
5. Push the safety lever (item 08) and
press the handle pieces into the grease
reservoir.
Compressed air connection:
1. Install an upstream maintenance unit
with filter pressure reducer and mist oil-
er.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the air
hose onto the plug nipple (item 01)
(Figure 1a).
Operation:
1. Press the venting valves (item 03) to
vent the grease gun.
2. Press the claw coupling on the grease
hose (item 04) onto the grease nipple
and hold tightly during the filling pro-
cess.
3. Press the trigger lever (item 02).
Depending on the type, manual or auto-
matic operation of the grease gun is
