Throghout the use of the shredder situations and or problems may occur, for which we present some
suggestions:
Trouble
Shredder jamming
Low production
Irregular cut
Trouble starting motor
Useful Suggestions
Probable cause
Excessive
intake/feeding.
Due to this the motor can not
maintain necessary rotation,
and the material accumulates
inside the shredder. Use under
this condition may cause
motor to overload.
Insufficient feeding of shredder.
1.
Cutting
blades
sharpening.
2. Counter
cutting
blade
worn or not regulated
properly.
3. Insufficient
feeding
cylinder feeder.
1. Excessive
intake
product in shredder.
2. Electrical shortage.
Solution
Turn off shredder and wait for motor to come to a full
stop. Open the lid, remove excess material, close lid,
turn on shredder, wait for motor to reach maximum
rotation and restart work. Control intake/feeding
according to motor's capacity.
Maintain a continuous feeding flow, yet not over-feeding
which may cause the shredder to jam.
need
1. Sharpen cutting blades as indicated in
Maintenance (page 54).
2. Proceed as indicated on page 55 Maintenance of
Counter Cutting Blade.
3. Increase the tension of cylinder spring (see page
of
53). Substitute upper cylinder if worn.
of
1. Once work is finished, always leave shredder
working for a few extract minutes to allow all
material to exit.
2. Check condition of electrical power source.
