How to cancel the timer?
Press the power button 7 (ON/OFF) once and the timer mode indicator 12
(AUTO) will turn off warning you that the timer is deactivated.
After coffee processing (manual or timer mode):
1. When the water tank is empty, the hotplate will remain in operation keeping
the coffee warm.
2. If you want to make more coffee, let the appliance cool down for at least 10
minutes before carrying out the entire process described above. In case
there is water left inside the tank, empty it in a sump.
3. To turn off the coffee machine press the power button 7 (ON/OFF) twice
and the power indicator 13 (RUN) will turn off.
Energy savings
The coffee maker incorporates an energy saving device which automatically
turns off the coffee after 40 minutes.
Attention:
Never open the lid during the coffe process. The device generates steam
which can cause burns.
To avoid coffee overflow ensure that:
- The filter holder 5 is properly engaged.
- The lid 2 is fixed perfectly to the main body of the coffee maker.
- The jar 1 is placed correctly on the hot base.
- The permanent filter is clean and if you use paper filters, this are not
bent.
Once completed the processing of coffee, leave the jar on the base of the
coffee to finish out the rest of coffee may remain in the filter.
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and wait until completely cool
prior to cleaning.
Open the lid 2 and remove the permanent filter (or filter paper), then
remove the filter from its housing 5.
Wash the permanent nylon filter and the holder 5 soapy water, then rinse
well and dry with a clean, dry cloth. Put it back in its housing.
The glass jar can be washed with soap and warm water, do not use
scouring pads or other abrasive cleaners.
Other plastic surfaces and the heating plate can be cleaned with a damp
cloth. Do not use abrasive products.
The main body of the pot and the hotplate can be cleaned with a damp
cloth, completely dried with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the main body of
the coffee maker in water or under a faucet.
