Do not use abrasive products and do not enter into the dishwasher.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not enter the jar in the microwave or in a dishwasher.
Do not insert ice cubes inside the jar and not insert it in the refrigerator.
Do not shake metallic objects (eg a spoon) into the glass jar, as it could
damage it.
If the pitcher has a crack, refrain from using it.
DECALCIFICATION
Depending on the use and "water hardness", you should regularly descale the
appliance. When you notice that the coffee takes longer than usual in the
processing of coffee, it will be a sure sign of the presence of residues of lime.
To proceed with the decalcification follow these steps:
Open the water tank. Pour into the tank a mixture composed of 2 cups
water and 2 commonly used vinegar (available in food stores) and close
the lid.
Place the jar with the lid on the hot plate (without permanent filter or coffee)
and connect the brewer.
Once the pitcher has flowed in about half of the solution, disconnect the
appliance and let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes.
Connect it again and let it flow the rest of the solution.
If you think a lot of the amount of waste accumulated lime, repeat the
above steps as many times as necessary.
To clarify the pot once the above process is completed, fill the tank with
water and run it to circulate water through the various circuits and vinegar
taste is removed. Repeat this process several times.
