Using the ozone generator

CAUTION! Risk of poisoning!
 Make sure that nobody enters the vehicle or is in the vehicle
during operation.
 Never inhale ozone directly.
 Air the vehicle after the purifying operation for 20 minutes.

NOTE
 Do not perform the purifying operation in the sunlight. At tem-
peratures of above 25 °C, the ozone quickly degenerates and
is less effective. If the temperature inside the vehicle is above
25 °C, let the vehicle cool down before performing the purify-
ing operation.
 Remove all sources of fragrance.
6.1 Purifying the vehicle interior
➤ Check that the voltage specification on the type plate is the same as that
of the power supply.
➤ Connect the DC plug to a DC socket.
✓ The 15 min-LED (fig. 1 2, page 3) lights up green.
If two LEDs light up, check the supply voltage.
➤ Press the START/STOP button (fig. 1 1, page 3).
✓ The 15 min-LED flashes.
The ozone generator produces ozone for 15 minutes.
➤ Press the START/STOP button on the control panel (fig. 1 1, page 3)
again to produce ozone for 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
✓ The LED for the selected length of time flashes, as well as all LEDs for
shorter periods of operation.
➤ Close all the doors and windows of the vehicle.
✓ Once the selected time has elapsed, the ozone generator stops automat-
ically.
➤ If you want to stop the purifying procedure before the time has elapsed,
press the START/STOP button (fig. 1 1, page 3) several times until the
ozone generator stops and the 15 min-LED lights up green.
