End a call

1. Press
or place the handset back on the charger.

Receive a call

When you receive a call, the phone rings, the

If your handset is on the charger and auto-answer is on: pick up the handset to answer the call or

Ringer volume
While the phone is ringing, you can use

to adjust the ringer volume.
Caller Display
If you have subscribed to your network's Caller Display service, the caller's number (or name if
stored in the phonebook) is displayed. See page 46 for more information.

Earpiece volume

During a call you can adjust the volume of the earpiece/handset receiver. There are 5 volume
levels to choose from.
1. Press
to increase or
to decrease the volume.

Secrecy (mute)

During a call, you can mute the microphone and talk to someone nearby without your caller
hearing.
1. Press
. Mute is displayed while the microphone is muted and your caller cannot hear you.

again to resume your conversation with your caller.
