Check that the on/off switch is set to position "0".

Slide the appliance onto the charger base with the handle facing downwards (Fig. 3).
3.
Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet.
The indicator light shows red when the appliance is charging on its base (Fig. 4). If the indicator
light is off, it means that the appliance has not been correctly positioned on its base.
4.
When charging is fi nished, the indicator light turns green.

Take the appliance off its base.

Select the appropriate accessory if one is needed and insert it onto the end of the dust container.

For vacuuming up mixed dry or damp waste material.
Dusting brush:
For use on furniture, picture frames, shelves, cushions, sofas and other soft
surfaces.
Upholstery tool:
For use on fi ne particles such as fl our, sugar, cocoa and the like.
Crevice tool:
For use in hard-to-reach areas such as corners, crevices, skirting
boards, etc.

Set the on/off switch to position "I" (on) to turn the vacuum cleaner on
(Fig. 5).
4.
When you have fi nished vacuuming, move the on/off switch to position
"0" (off) and replace the appliance on its base to charge the battery and
get it ready for the next time it is needed (Fig. 5).

This vacuum cleaner is not designed to vacuum up liquids.
•
If you do vacuum up any damp and/or perishable waste, make sure you empty, clean and
dry the container before you use it again to prevent mould growth.

Always unplug your appliance before cleaning and check that the on/off switch is set to

Never immerse the appliance, charger base or mains adapter in water or other liquids.

Do not use harsh cleaning products or abrasive sponges.
Cleaning the appliance
For optimum performance, empty and clean the appliance regularly. If the container and fi lter are
clogged with dirt, vacuuming performance will drop.

Press the dust container lid open button to remove it from the motor unit (Fig. 6).
2.
Pull out the F5 fi ne particle fi lter/pre-fi lter assembly from the container (Fig. 7).
3.
Empty the contents of the container into a dustbin and if necessary, clean inside it with a slightly
moist soft cloth and allow to dry completely.
