REMOTE CONTROL (see Fig. 6)
On the remote control, there are three buttons (see Fig. 6)
1. Remote Control Operation
(a) Point the remote control at the receiver and press the
desired button.
(b) The remote control will work at distances of up to roughly
five meters and the angle of 30 degrees from the control panel.
(c) Avoid direct sunshine on the receiver as the receiver might
be affected.
(d) The batteries must be removed from the remote control
before it is scrapped. Make sure batteries are disposed of safely.
2. Batteries (batteries are not included in the packing).
(a) Slide the battery cover off.
(b) Insert the batteries and make sure that the batteries are
placed as shown in the picture. (see Fig. 7)
(c) Slide the battery cover back on.
NOTE: Use "AAA" size manganese or alkaline batteries. Non-
rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged; Do not mix
different types of batteries such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or
rechargeable batteries; do not mix old and new batteries; batteries
are to be inserted with the correct polarity; exhausted batteries are
to be removed from the product.

To adjust the air flow upward or downward, push the grilles
lightly to the desired direction.

HEIGHT ADJUSTING (see Fig. 10)
The height of the fan can be adjusted by loosening the height
adjustment ring, then carefully raising or lowering the fan and
firmly re-tightening height adjustment ring.
