Additional information for the HKF model
The HKF heat pad features a cover with 2 compartments, one for heat pads
and the other for a foam inlay. You can remove this inlay from the cover and
then moisten it (e.g. using a spray bottle) before putting it back in the cover.
You can then use the heat pad with the moistened side resting on the desired
part of the body, providing a more intensive heat treatment.
Please remember that the inlay must only be moistened, not wet or
soaked. Under no circumstances should you immerse or soak the pad in
water.
Additional information for the HKN model
This specially-shaped back and neck pad is especially designed for use on these
areas of the body. It is individually adjustable to your body thanks to hook and
loop fasteners in the neck and hip areas.
Heat pad
• Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down
for at least ten minutes.
• Clean the HKS and HKF (PVC-surface) heat pads using a soft, damp cloth.
Do not let water enter the heat pad or the control unit. After cleaning, dry
off the unit with a dry cloth or towel. Only use the unit again when it is
completely dry.
• The HKC, HKM and HKN (cotton surface) heat pads can be cleaned with a
brush when dry.
• Never use strong detergents or hard brushes.
• You should untangle the cable from time to time.
• Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering
or resting on top of it.
Heat pad cover
• Remove the heat pad from its cover.
• Dry clean the removable cover or as detailed in the instructions on the label.
