Adjusting the Stop 6
Adjusting the groove height
Loosen the locking screw 10 and set the height of the
groove at scale 14. Tighten the locking screw 10
again.
The correct groove height must be determined
through practical testing according to material thick-
ness and type of material.
Index stop
Three different groove heights can be set with the
index stop 11. The index stops are factory set to 16,
19 and 25 mm.
Loosen lock nut 12 and turn stop screw 13 until the
desired height is reached. Tighten the lock nut again.
Always turn the index stop until it latches in the
respective position.
Adjusting the groove angle
Loosen locking screw 21 and set the groove angle at
scale 22. Tighten locking screw 21 again.
Replacing the Routing Blade
8
(Fig. B)
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Turn the machine around with the base plate 26
facing upward.
Unscrew the four screws 27 and remove the cover 28.
Press the spindle lock button 23.
Loosen the clamping nut 30 with the two-pin span-
ner 29.
Remove the clamping nut 30 and the routing
blade 31.
If required, also remove and clean the supporting
flange 32.
Place the routing blade onto the supporting flange.
Use routing blades size 100 x 4 mm.
Observe the rotation direction of the routing
blade.
Screw the clamping nut onto the spindle.
Press the spindle lock button 23 and tighten the
clamping nut with the two-pin spanner.
Check if the routing blade is mounted cor-
rectly and moves freely.
Remount the cover 28 and fasten with the four
screws.

Chip/Sawdust Extraction
Dust extraction prevents large accumulations of dust,
high concentrations of dust in the ambient air and
facilitates disposal.
For long periods of working with wood or for commer-
cial use on materials that produce dust that is detri-
mental to health, the machine is to be connected to a
suitable external dust extraction device.
For extraction of dusts that are particularly harmful to
oneís health, carcinogenic or dry, use a special
vacuum cleaner.
Chip Ejection
With the ejector adapter 15, the direction of chip ejec-
tion is deflected to the side, keeping the work area
free of chips and sawdust.
Insert the ejector adapter into the ejector opening until
it latches.
Adapter for Connection with a Vacuum
Cleaner (Fig. A)
The adapter 25 enables the extraction of chips and saw-
dust using a commercially available vacuum cleaner.
If required, a rubber reducer must be used to reduce
the connection diameter to fit the diameter of the
vacuum cleaner hose.
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material
being worked.
Mounting the Dust Collector (Fig. A)
For small routing applications, the supplied dust col-
lector 24 can be used for dust extraction.
Attach the dust collector to the stop on the adapter 25.
To empty the dust collector, open the zipper and care-
fully strike or tap out the dust/debris.
10 Practical Advice
Connection Types
The following wood connections/joints are possible:
Corner joint (Fig. C):
- Groove-angle setting 0°
- Protective router cover 28 mounted
- Use of index stop 11
Centre wall joint (Fig. D):
- Groove-angle setting 0° and 90°
- For vertical routing, remove protective router cover
Lengthwise and cross joint (Fig. E):
- Groove-angle setting 0°
- Protective router cover mounted
Mitre joint (Fig. F):
- Groove-angle setting 45°
- Protective router cover mounted
