6. FUNCTIONING
1. Place the appliance in vertical position
on a flat, stable, heat-resistant horizontal
surface. Make sure there are no
flammable products within a metre of
the appliance.
2. Turn the switches (3) to "0" and turn
the thermostat (2) anti-clockwise to Off
position (•).
3. Unwind the cable from the cable winder
(4) and plug in the radiator.
4. Press the switches (3) depending on the
heat required: "I" (low), "II" (medium) or
"I+II" (high).
5. Turn the thermostat (2) clockwise to
its highest position. The indicator light
will come on. When the desired room
temperature has been reached, turn
the thermostat anti-clockwise until the
indicator light switches off. The radiator
will automatically set an on/off cycle to
maintain this room temperature constant.
Note: the process for reaching the desired
temperature takes around 15 minutes.
6. To switch off the radiator, turn the
thermostat (2) anti-clockwise to Off
position (•). The indicator light will switch
off. Then turn the switches (3) to "0".
7. Unplug the radiator and allow it to cool
down.
NOTE: The indicator light only remains
on if the temperature is lower than the
thermostat setting. This indicates that the
radiator is heating up the room.
7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before carrying out any maintenance or
cleaning, turn the thermostat to • and the
switches to "0", unplug the radiator and
allow it to cool down.
• Clean the outer surface of the radiator
with a soft damp cloth. Do not allow
any water or other liquids to enter the
radiator, as there is a risk of fire or short-
circuiting.
• Do not use detergents or abrasive
products for cleaning.
• Store the appliance in a clean, dry place.
8. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special
local authority differentiated
waste collection centre or to
a dealer providing this service. Disposing
of a household appliance separately avoids
possible negative consequences for the
environment and health deriving from
inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to
obtain significant savings in energy and
resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate
with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product
warning you not to dispose of it in
traditional refuse containers.
For further information, contact your local
authority or the shop where you bought the
product.
