Use extension cords when working outdoors. When a tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords
intended for use outdoors and so marked.
Stay alert: watch what you are doing, use common sense, do not operate tool when you are tired.
Check damaged parts. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be
carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for
alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any other conditions

a tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.

Safety Instructions for the Log Saw
Carefully read these instructions before use. Pay special attention to the safety instructions.
These instructions are intended for persons having a basic technical knowledge of the operation of
machines such as the one described herein. If you have no experience whatsoever, we strongly recommend
seeking the advice of an experienced person.
Keep all documents supplied with this machine for future reference.
If you lend or sell this machine be sure to have all machine documents supplied go with it.
The equipment manufacturer is not liable for any damage resulting from neglect of these operating
instructions.
This machine is only intended for cutting firewood as detailed in these instructions. Any other use is not
specified. Unspecified use, modifications to the machine, or use of parts not tested and approved by the
equipment manufacturer may cause unforeseeable damage.
This machine is intended for operation by one person. Other persons shall keep a sufficient distance to the
machine.
Observe the permissible dimensions of logs to be cut.
Never cut several work pieces at the same time. Never cut bundles containing several individual pieces.
Risk of personal injury if individual pieces are caught by the saw blade uncontrolled.
Do not force the machine. Only use the machine within the performance range it was designed for.
Only for outdoor use. Please also observe the special safety instructions in the respective chapters, where
applicable, follow the legal directives of regulations for the prevention of accidents pertaining to the use of
circular saw.
Be alert. Know what you are doing. Do not operate machine while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
Keep your work area tidy. Untidiness can result in accidents.
Regularly clear the work area of the cut logs.
Prevent adverse body positions.
Consider environmental effects.
Provide proper lightning.
Do not operate machine near inflammable liquids or gases.
This machine shall only be started and operated by a person familiar with circular saw and who is at all
times aware of the dangers associated with the use of such machine.
Keep bystanders, particularly children, out of the danger zone. Persons under 18 years of age shall use this
machine only in the course of their vocational training, under the supervision of an instructor.
Do not permit other persons to touch the machine or power cable while it is running.
Danger! Electrical Shock Hazard.
To ensure the machine remains weatherproof, before any use check to see that the switch, power cable of
plug are not damaged. Do not use the power cable for any purpose it is not intended for.
Risk of personal injury and crushing by moving parts.
Do not operate the machine without installed guard.
Ensure the machine is disconnected from power supply before servicing.
Ensure no tools or loose parts are left on or in the machine before switching on the machine.
Turn power off if the machine is not used.
