2.5 Weighing small children

An adult steps onto the scales.
> The display shows »57.6 kg« for example
Press the ON/TARA/OFF button.
> The display changes to »0.0 kg«
The adult steps off the scale ...
> The display shows »–57.6 kg«
... then steps onto the scale again holding the child.
> The display now indicates the child's weight, for example »5.1 kg«

2.6 Switching Off

Press the ON/TARA/OFF button to switch off the scale.
If the scale is empty and the display indicates zero weight, the scale can
be switched off immediately.
If the scale is loaded, press and hold the ON/TARA/OFF button for
5 seconds.
Note:
If the display indicates »0,0 kg«, the scale switch off automatically after a preset time. In this
case, the display can be activated again by pressing the ON/TARA/OFF button.
