10 Connect AlessiTab² to a monitor
To connect AlessiTab ² to any monitor, you must have a mini-HDMI
cable - HDMI (cable not supplied). This allows you to view the images,
videos and photos stored on your AlessiTab, on any monitor in your
home, is ready for a connection via HDMI.
In order to make the connection effective and view images correctly,
open SETTINGS on the "Display" menu Output settings, check the
gray box to the right next to the item "Select Output" and wait a few
seconds for activatation (HDMI ON).
You can also change the resolution: by going to "Resolution" and
choosing the desired resolution.
Note that when the Tablet is connected with an HDMI port and a video
starts playing, the AlessiTab² screen will become darkened and the
images will appear only on the connected monitor.
To restore the use of the Tablet, press the ALESSITAB² button and
go back.

11 Notes on the safety and care of the product

• When the Tablet is not used, place it in a safe place that can not be
easily reached by children.
• Plastic bags from the packaging can be dangerous. To avoid
chocking, keep the bags out of the reach of children.
• Use a soft cloth to wipe and clean the touch-screen. Do not use
liquid detergents. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the
touchscreen: it could determine permanent damages!
• Do not keep and/or use the Tablet and the Base in bathrooms or in
the shower, since they are not designed for use in high humidity
environments or under water.
• If the Tablet is intended for use with the battery, check that the
battery has been placed preliminary under recharge for at least 8
hours.
• In case the product should remain unused for a long time (for
example more than 7 consecutive days), it is recommended to
disconnect the power supply from the base and/or the Tablet to
reduce the power consumption in standby and to increase the lifetime
of the internal battery of the Tablet.
• Use the product at a temperature higher than +5° C and lower than
+35° C.
• Use only the power supply provided with the product.
• The device could interfere with electro-medical equipment. Adhere
therefore to the indications provided in the relevant premises (e.g.
surgeries, hospitals, etc.).
