USING TO SLICE AND SHRED
1. Before assembly, make sure accessory base is operating
correctly.
2. Place bowl on accessory base so that the tabs
on the bowl line up with lock opening. Turn bowl
counterclockwise until it locks in place and will not turn
any further (Figure 5).
3. Place the axel adaptor for disks in the accessory base
(Figure 6). Your food processor accessory can be used in
two ways:
a. Keeping the processed foods inside the accessory
bowl.
1a. Place one of the two reversible slicing/shredding
disks on top of the axel adaptor for disks (Figure 7).
2a. Place lid on bowl so that the tabs on the bowl line
up with lock openings on the lid, press down
slightly and turn counterclockwise until locked in
place (Figure 8).
3a. Insert the food chute blocker in its slot to close
the food chute and keep the processed foods
inside the accessory bowl (Figure 9).
4a. Place accessory base on the motor base of your
Oster blender (Figure 10). DO NOT OPERATE
®
UNIT UNLESS COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED.
5a. Turn blender on. Select the lowest speed setting
and increase as needed. ALWAYS HOLD
FOOD PROCESSOR ACCESSORY FIRMLY WITH
ONE HAND WHEN STARTING UNIT AND WHEN
PROCESSING.
6a. Place the food you desire to slice/shred in the
feeding tube and push it down using the accessory
pusher. DO NOT USE HANDS OR ANY
OTHER UTENSIL.
7a. When done, turn unit off and unplug blender.
8a. Always wait for the disk to stop spinning.
9a. Remove food processor accessory from blender
motor base.
10a.Hold bowl handle with one hand and with
other hand turn lid clockwise to remove from bowl.
11a.Remove the disk carefully. The surfaces of the disk
are very sharp. Scrape any remaining food from the
disk and processing bowl.
12a.Unlock bowl from accessory base by turning bowl
clockwise.
