Functions of the crown
Normal position
With the crown in the normal position (0), you can wind the watch by turning
the crown clockwise. Always wind the watch fully, to the point at which you
feel a distinct resistance in the crown. Your watch has a power reserve of ap-
proximately 46 hours. To ensure maximum accuracy, you should fully wind
your watch every day as a matter of routine. The crown must always be in
position 0 when you are wearing your watch.
Time setting
Pull out the crown to position 1. This will stop the movement. To set the time
accurately to the second, it is best to stop the movement as the seconds
hand passes 60. You can now set the time by turning the crown and position
the minute hand exactly above the minute stroke. To start the seconds hand,
push in the crown to position 0.
