Helpful things to think about before Carpet Cleaning
1. Before cleaning, determine where to start and end, making sure not to walk
over previously cleaned area.
2. Do not over saturate carpet with cleaning solution.
3. For heavily soiled areas, additional applications may be necessary.
4. Allow plenty of time for carpet to dry completely.
5. Wipe cleaning solution from woodwork and wood to prevent damage.
6. Vacuum the carpet thoroughly and remove as much furniture from the room
as possible. For remaining pieces place foil or plastic under furniture legs until
the carpet has completely dried.
7. Check for color fastness before cleaning your carpet. Dampen a white cloth
with the cleaning solution and test a small inconspicuous area. Gently rub
over the area and all colors in the carpet. If the white cloth remains clean it
should be safe to clean your carpet.
8. You may use any carpet cleaning solution available at your local retail or
hardware store. Pay close attention to the amounts that should be used.
Follow directions on carpet cleaning solution bottle.
9. Do not use any chemicals on your carpeting. Only approved carpet cleaning
solutions.
How to fill the clean, water tank
1. Unplug the carpet cleaner.
2. Lift the clean, water tank handle upwards and tilt the
tank away from the carpet cleaner to remove it.
3. Unscrew the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Add cleaning solution, making sure to follow the instructions
on the bottle and fill the remainder of the tank with warm tap
water and replace the tank cap.
5. Place the clean water tank back into position by pushing it
down and into the carpet cleaner.
6. Push the tank handle down until it clicks, locking it into place.
