Mounting of the Additional Device
Untie the 4 hexagon socket screws of table 2 (10) and exchange it against the additional device.
Please tighten the 4 screws again.
7.3
Adjustment of the Bezel
Before adjusting the suitable positioning, the tube diameter must be pre-fixed by removing the rollers:
Untie left nut M10 on
the back side.
Roller in shown
position is for smaller
to medium-size tubes
and the lower
position for larger
tubes.
Untie screws (13) and turn hand wheel (12) in clockwise direction until the screw positions on
the right edge of the oblong hole: In this position, the milling head should not get in contact with
the tube.
If this should nevertheless be the case, please check your pre-adjustment and correct it if
necessary.
Place the bevel milling machine onto the tube spot where you like to create the bezel and switch
it on.
Turn the hand wheel (12) carefully to the left until the milling head slightly starts milling.
Switch off machine now, adjust the required land width and tighten both screws (13) carefully
again.
When chamfering tubes, the working operation must be principally from right to left and
the milling head must be approached collaterally.
In order to do so, put the left roller against the tube, switch on the machine and dive the milling
head into the material by slightly swinging to the right.
Please observe the safety instructions and be careful with all adjustments!
Adjustments can be carried out much easier in case you have a tube piece available.
In this case, place the machine up vertically and continue as described before.
From above you can see the milling head and its position and adjust it much safer.
The bezel angle, too, is adjusted as described before.
Also here, the land width slightly changes.
Please note the standard values enclosed on the following page for your orientation
Untie right nut M10
on the back side and
bring roller in
position.
The upper position is
for smaller tubes and
lower position is for
larger positions.
