Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING: Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, unplug it from
the mains socket and wait for it to cool down.
– Use a soft sponge dampened with lukewarm water and possibly
regular dishwashing detergent to clean the plastic parts and the
tray. Particular care should be taken when cleaning the part with
the electrical controls, since the thermostat knob, heating
element, etc. are not to be wet. Should this occur, dry carefully. Do
not immerse the component with electrical controls in water or
other liquids.
– To clean the cooking grill, use a brush with plastic bristles, warm
water and normal dishwashing detergent. Rinse well with running
water and dry carefully.
– Store the appliance in a dry place when not in use. If you are not
going to use the appliance again in the future, it is recommended
that you render it inoperative by cutting the power cord (first
ensuring that the plug has been removed from the socket). Ensure
that no parts of the appliance pose a risk to children who may
come into contact with them.
Troubleshooting
– The heating element is fitted with a safety switch. This prevents
the heating element being operated outside the grill tray. If the
heating does not switch on, please check the connection, whether
the heating element is fitted correctly into the housing.
