Your R/C system needs at least
two free proportional channels,
for using all functions you need
to have 3 free channels. Those
channels have to be defined at
your R/C system at first. Two
channels for tilt and pan will be
assigned as an encoder over
the trainer port. A third free
channel can be assigned to a
button/switch to start and stop
the recording.
FCOΞ camera in combination with FCOΞ RX-
cable and receiver
For binding the FCOΞ system with your R/C system, you need the trainer port
cable which belongs to the R/C system. At the base of the FCOΞ V-Eyes is the
3,5mm PPM-socket for the signal output. Connect this with your R/C system.
Make sure that the cable length is sufficient.
Further, for picking off the signal at the receiver, use the FCOΞ RX-cable.
Build up the connection between the RC system receiver and the camera:
The channels are marked as follows: „P" for „panorama"„T" for „Tilt" and „R" for
„Release". The release channel doesn´t have to be assigned, you can also start
and stop the chosen mode on the ground.
Charging the FCOΞ V-Eyes Base
Connect the FCOΞ 2.4/5.8GHz video-receiver with the attached FCOΞ V-Eyes
base to the USB power adaptor or the USB-cable which is part of the FCOΞ Core
Sets. The LinX docking station of the FCOΞ V-Eyes Glasses can also charge the
LinX transmitter at the same time.
Juridical hint
In some countries of the EU, using the FCOΞ V-Eyes and flying a model aircraft is
prohibited. At present it´s being tested if the FPV flying will be prohibited at all.
Ask about that before you use the system.
Recommendation:
Use the system always by twos:
one pilot which flies the model and a second, virtual pilot which carries the FCOΞ
System. As well you can connect two R/C systems at the trainer port, while the
FCOΞ V-Eyes system is controlled by the FCOΞ LinX.
