Cleaning and care

DANGER

Never immerse the toaster or the

mains plug in water or other liquids.
Never hold the toaster under running

water.
WARNING
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces
Allow the appliance to cool down be-

fore beginning cleaning.
Proceed as follows:
1. Unplug the mains plug from the sock-
et.
2. Wipe off the toaster with a damp cloth.
3. Press on the handle of the crumb pan
(4) to disengage it. The crumb pan is
ejected.
4. Empty the crumb pan and wipe it out
with a piece of paper towel.
5. Push the crumb pan back into the ap-
pliance until it snaps into place.

Storage

If you do not need the appliance for a
longer period of time, clean it as described
in the chapter Cleaning and care
(page 14).
Store the appliance and all accessories in
a clean, dry and frost-free location pro-
tected from direct sunlight.

A note about environmental pro-
tection
The packaging materials used can
be recycled. Dispose of packaging mate-
rials which are no longer needed in ac-
cordance with local regulations.
This product may not be disposed of
as normal household waste within the
European Union. Dispose of the appli-
ance via municipal collection points.
Warranty/guarantee
In addition to the statutory warranty obli-
gation, BEEM also offers an extended
manufacturer's guarantee on certain
products.
If offered, you will find the appropriate
details either on the product-specific
packaging, promotional materials or on
the BEEM website for the particular
product.
In the case of commercial or equivalent
use, for example in hotels, guest houses
or communal facilities, or if the customer
is not a consumer in the sense of the Civil
Code, the warranty period is 6 months.
This has no effect on the warranty exclu-
sion.
