3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1. TO COOK / HEAT / DEFROST:
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME, IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOw THAT:
- The appliance begins to produce steam 3 minutes after the cook/sterilise function is switched on. This
is the time it takes to heat up.
- When the water in the tank (J) reaches the minimum level, the appliance stops heating, the switch
remains in the steam generation position and the light (K) switches off. The appliance is equipped with a
device that automatically switches off the cook/sterilise function when the water in the tank runs out.
1- Make sure the dial (L) is in the central OFF position (FIG. A)
2- Remove the bowl (D) by turning it clockwise using the handle (E) and lift the lid (H) of the water tank (J) (FIG. B)
3- Fill the water tank (J) according to the required cooking time (see table at the end of this manual) and close
the lid (H). Bear in mind that you can add a maximum of 250 ml of water. (FIG. C)
4- Open the lid of the bowl (A) by turning it clockwise (FIG. D)
5- MAKE SURE THE BLADES (F) ARE FITTED PROPERLY to prevent water from leaking into the appliance
(which may damage it or reduce its useful life) (FIG. E)
6- Place the food in the main basket (C) or the rice/pasta/pulses in the rice cooker (B). If using the rice cooker,
the necessary amount of water should also be added, based on the table at the end of this manual. The total
weight of the ingredients in the main food basket should be no more than 300 g. Both baskets can be used
during the same cooking process.
· NOTES:
- If you wish to heat or defrost something that has already been cooked, place the food in a container that is
suitable for steaming (e.g. a plastic container, jar or feeding bottle) and place it in the basket (C), making sure
you can close the lid properly (A).
- If you are planning to cook rice in the rice cooker (B).
7- Put the bowl (D) in position by turning it anti-clockwise and close the lid (A).
8- Switch on the cook / steam function by turning the dial (L) clockwise (FIG. F). The light (K) will now switch on.

ONCE THE COOKING TIME HAS COME TO AN END, THE LIGHT wILL SwITCH OFF:
9- Turn the dial (L) to the OFF position (FIG. G).
10- Open the lid of the bowl (A) by turning it clockwise.
11- Remove the basket with the cooked food. Take the basket out with the aid of the spatula to avoid burning
yourself (FIG H). It can also be used to stir or scrape food. (FIG I).

· imPORTANT:
- Hot steam will be released as soon as the lid is opened. Be very careful and keep back a little to avoid
scalding.
- In order to heat/defrost a bottle, make sure you take the lid, cover, screw ring and teat off the bottle first. Place
the bottle upright in the food basket (C).
- It is possible to cook/heat with food in both the basket (C) and the rice cooker (B) in the same cycle.
- If you mix different types of foods, it will be necessary to choose the cooking option for the hardest food,
bearing in mind that the softer food will be more cooked.
- The tank's Refill function makes it possible to refill it without having to remove the bowl (D) (FIG. K).
