Setting the AV In/Out (SC-D965 only)
✤ AV In/Out function works only in <Player> mode. ➥page 19
✤ AV In/Out setting enables you to record signal from external sources and
display it on LCD Screen. Also, you can send your video or image to
external devices to record or play back.
1. Connect the Camcorder to your VCR or TV with the Multi-
AV Cable. ➥pages 63~64
2. Set the [Power] switch to [PLAYER].
3. Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE].
4. Turn on the VCR or TV.
5. Insert the blank tape with protection tab closed into the
Camcorder.

If you want to record from a connected VCR, insert a
recorded VHS tape into the VCR.
6. Press the [MENU] button.

The menu list will appear.
7. Move the [Zoom] lever to the up or down to select
<Record>, then press the [OK] button.
8. Move the [Zoom] lever to the up or down to select
<AV In/Out>, then press the [OK] button.
9. Move the [Zoom] lever to the up or down to select
<AV In>, <S-Video In> then press the [OK] button.

If you want to see the Camcorder picture with a TV,
set <AV In/Out> menu to <Out>.
10.To exit, press the [MENU] button.
11. Press the [Start/Stop] button to set the Camcorder to
REC PAUSE mode.

PAUSE appears.
12.Select the TV program or playback the VHS tape.
13.Press the [Start/Stop] button to start recording.

If you want to pause recording for a while, press the
[Start/Stop] button again.
14.To stop recording, press the [I (STOP)] button.

When recording images from a VCR, playback must be
at normal speed, or a gray image will appear on the
Camcorder.

If <AV In / Out> is set to <AV In> or <S-Video In>, the
WindCut Plus will be released.

✤ El ajuste de AV In/Out permite grabar la señal de fuentes externas y la
muestra en la pantalla LCD. Asimismo, puede enviar su video o la imagen
a dispositivos externos para grabarlos o reproducirlos.

1. Conecte la videocámara a la video casetera o al TV
con el cable Multi-AV. ➥pág. 63~64
2. Coloque el interruptor [Power] en [PLAYER].
3. Coloque el interruptor [Mode] en [TAPE].
4. Encienda la video casetera o el televisor.
5. Inserte una cinta virgen en la cámara con la pestaña de
protección cerrada.

Si desea grabar desde la video casetera conectada,
inserte en la video casetera una cinta VHS grabada.
6. Presione el botón [MENU].

Aparecerá la lista de menús.
7. Mueva la palanca [Zoom] arriba o abajo para
seleccionar <Record> y presione el botón [OK].
8. Mueva la palanca [Zoom] arriba o abajo para
seleccionar <AV In/Out> y presione el botón [OK].
9. Mueva la palanca [Zoom] arriba o abajo para seleccionar
<AV In>, <S-Video In> y presione el botón [OK].

Si desea ver las imágenes de la videocámara en un
televisor, ajuste el menú <AV IN/OUT> en <Out>.
10.Para salir, presione el botón [MENU].
11.Presione el botón [Start/Stop] para colocar la
videocámara en el modo REC PAUSE.

Aparece PAUSE.
12.Seleccione el canal de televisión o ponga en marcha la
cinta VHS.
13.Presione el botón [Start/Stop] para comenzar la
grabación.

Si desea detener momentáneamente la grabación,
presione de nuevo el botón [Start/Stop] .
14.Para detener la grabación, presione el botón [I (STOP)].

Al grabar imágenes desde una video casetera, la
Exit
reproducción debe realizarse a velocidad normal o, de lo
contrario, aparecerá en la videocámara una imagen gris.

Si AV IN/OUT se define en AV In o S-Video In, se
liberará WindCut Plus.
