Carry out a test run for approx. 20 sec-
onds when using a new sanding belt. Push
the swiveling extension arm (b) firmly
outwards to tension the sanding belt
ready for use.

Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or
more often if the power tool is used more
frequently:
Clean and lubricate the joint and the
surface of the tension spring on the
swiveling extension arm.
Clean the venting openings.
Blow out the motor space from outside
with dry compressed air.
