The values given are valid for nominal voltages [U] of
230/240 V. For lower voltage and models for specific coun-
tries, these values can vary.
Please observe the article number on the type plate of your
machine. The trade names of the individual machines may
vary.
Noise/Vibration Information
Measured values determined according to EN 60745.
Typically the A-weighted sound pressure level of the
machine is 83 dB(A). Uncertainty K=3 dB.
The noise level when working can exceed 85 dB(A).
Wear hearing protection!
The typically weighted acceleration is 5.5 m/s
The vibration emission level given in
WARNING
this information sheet has been meas-
ured in accordance with a standardised test given in
EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with
another.
The vibration emission level will vary because of the
ways in which a power tool can be used and may
increase above the level given in this information sheet.
This could lead to a significant underestimate of expo-
sure when the tool is used regularly in such a way.
Note: To be accurate, an estimation of the level of
exposure to vibration experienced during a given period
of work should also take into account the times when
the tool is switched off and when it is running but not
actually doing the job. This may significantly reduce the
exposure level over the total working period.

Dust/Chip Extraction
B Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
Integrated Dust Extraction with Dust Box
2
(see Fig. A1 – A4)
.
Attach the dust box 2 onto the outlet piece 5 until it
latches.
To empty the dust box 2, pull off the dust box down-
ward.
Before opening the dust box 2, it is recommended to
loosen the dust from the filter element by gently striking
it against a firm support (as shown in the figure).
Grasp the dust box 2 by the recessed grip, fold the filter
element 6 upward and empty the dust box. Clean the
thin plates of the filter element 6 with a soft brush.
External Dust Extraction (see figure B)
Insert a vacuum hose 7 onto the outlet piece 5. Con-
nect the vacuum hose 7 to a vacuum cleaner. See the
overview for connecting to various vacuum cleaners at
the end of these operating instructions.
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material
being worked.
When vacuuming dry dust that is especially detrimental
to health or carcinogenic, use a special vacuum
cleaner.
