• Only use cutlery made of plastic to protect the appliance against
scratches.
• Always open the steam valve on the lid before use.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• If a power cord from this appliance becomes damaged, it must be
replaced by a special cord which is available from the manufac-
turer or their customer service.
• Only use the appliance in dry indoor areas. It is intended for do-
mestic use and similar applications such as:
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial areas;
It is not intended for use in agricultural estates, by customers in
hotels, motels and other residential establishments as well as in
bed and breakfasts.
CAUTION:
Do not immerse the appliance into water for cleaning. Please fol-
low the instructions as stipulated in the chapter "Cleaning".
Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as films, filler
material, cable clips and carton.
3. Check the contents for completeness.
4. In case of incomplete delivery or damage, do not oper-
ate the appliance. Return it to your dealer immediately.
NOTE:
Production residue or dust may have collected on the ap-
pliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance according
to chapter "Cleaning".
