In a Multi-User gaming situation (i.e. two or more AIRPLAY™s being used from the
same PlayStation® configuration) each AIRPLAY™ pair must be set to a different
channel.
Perform the following procedure after you have connected the AIRPLAY™s to the
PlayStation® configuration:
1. Check the channel (i.e. the last two symbols on the Mating Number) on the back of
each of the AIRPLAY™ Controllers being used. If the channels are different, no
adjustments will be necessary and you can proceed with the startup and playing of
your game.
2. If the default channel for two or more controllers happens to be the same, you will
have to manually set the channel on all but one of those controllers (refer to the
section below on "Manually Setting the AIRPLAY™ Channel").

When the POWER/CHANNEL key is pressed to change channels, the channels are
changed in sequence, starting from the default channel and proceeding through the
sequence of 16 available channels as follows:
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - 1 - 2 ...
In some cases, it may be desirable to change directly to a specific channel. The user may
do this with a simple key sequence. For example, to change AIRPLAY™ to channel 8,
the user would do the following:
1. Press (and hold down) the POWER/CHANNEL key.
2. Click the 5 key.
3. Click the s key.
4. Release the POWER/CHANNEL key.
To set your AIRPLAY™ controller back to its default channel, Press (hold down) the
POWER/CHANNEL button, Click the START button, then Release the POWER/
CHANNEL button.
(NOTE: Whenever the controller is Powered-down and then up again, it will
return back to its default channel.)
