To turn the headset OFF
Press and hold the headset button (2) for 3 seconds until you hear two beep sounds.
The headset indictor LED is switched OFF.
7. REGISTER THE HEADSET
Before you start using the headset for the first time, you must register the headset
on to the device you want to use it with. Unless you bought it together with a DECT
telephone system, the headset should be registered by default to this system.
Registration operation: When you put the headset into registration mode it will
register automatically to each DECT GAP device which is also in registration mode
and has a registration code (pin code) = '0000'. If the registration code is not '0000',
the headset will stop the registration and look for another device which has a pin
code = '0000'.
There are 3 steps you have to follow:
1
Change the pin code or registration code of your DECT device into '0000'.
Please refer to the user quide of your DECT system.
Note: All TOPCOM Butler 24xx, 29xx, 30xx, 25xx and 35xx are by default set
to pin code '0000'. So if you didn't changed it, you can skip this point and go to
step 2.
2
Put the base into registration/park mode. To do this, please refer to the user
manual for the device. Most DECT devices can be put into registration mode
by pressing the paging key for some seconds.
