Carefully read the safety regulations before assembly.
TRANSMISSION SHAFT ASSEMBLY
1. Put the rubber bellows (2) in the aluminum tube (1) fig.2
2. Loosen the 4 screws (7) of clamp (6) fig. 3/C
3. Fit shaft (1) into clamp (6), and tighten screws (7)
fig. 3/C
4. Hook the rubber bellows (2) in the sliding pink (3) fig. 2
Make sure the bellows is fully engaged in the protection by
sliding the appropriate red hooks.
ATWARNING: make sure screws are tightened
HANDGRIP fig. 3-A
1. Remove screws (11), washers (9) and nuts (10)
2. Position the handgrip on supports (A) (see the figure), and
secure it with screws (11), washers (9) and nuts (10).
3. Secure the screws.
ACCELERATOR CORD ASSEMBLY Fig. 4
1. Remove air filter cover (1)
2. Screw the terminal of accelerator cord (a) onto support
(B)
3. Connect the end of cord (C) to terminal (E)
4. Adjust the tensioning of cord (C), by loosening lock nut
(D) and turning cord tensioner (A)
After setting the correct tension, tighten lock nut (D). If the
adjustment is correct, the accelerator lever will have a
backlash of approx. 2mm, before moving lever (E).
1. When using the machine, keep it on the right side of your
body (see fig. 1).
2. If you have never used this vehicle, familiarise yourself
with all the controls.
3. Regularly check the anti-vibration system.
4. Check hook gasket (1) fig. 9.
5. Check the harness connecting system (19) (fig. 10) and
make sure the release system is working properly.
6. Only cut during broad daylight, concentrate on what you
are doing and be prudent.
7. Do not work near live lines. ELECTROCUTION HAZARD
8. Hold the machine in a oblique direction, and do not stay
under the branches to be shaken; do not exceed 60°
angles, with respect ho a horizontal line.
HOW TO WORK Fig. 11:
To facilitate connection and positioning of hook (17) on
the branch, using the rear handgrip, transmission shaft
(16), fig.11, makes a turn and gasket (18), fig. 1, has a
special edge, in order to work also in positions not
perfectly perpendicular to the branch.

5. ASSEMBLY

FRONT HANDGRIP ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY
FIG. 3/B
- Make rubber bellow (12) touch support (14)
- Fit gasket (15) onto pipe (13).
- Screw-up and lock ring holder (4+1) on pipe (13)
- Make gasket (15) touch ring holder (4).
- Fit guide (10) (with the thin side facing the clamp) on
shaft (16)
- Fit clamp (11) onto shaft (16) and secure it temporarily
by means of a pin (9), Ø 3mm.
- Place guide (10) against clamp (11), and make sure that
screw (8) is in line with screws (7) of clamp (11), and lock
it by means of screw (8).
- Mount half-shell (6) on pipe (13) and hold it with your
hand; then mount upper shell (5).
- Secure the two half-shells by means of screws (2) and
nuts (3).
WARNING: make sure that the handgrip can slide along
the pipe (13).
DISASSEMBLY
Proceed as above, but in reverse

6. USE OF BRUSHCUTTER

- Harness adjustment
- Connect spring hook (19) to support (22), fig.10, so that
the machine weight is transferred, in part, on the hook,
and to prevent the hook releasing the branch during work.
- For maximum shaking efficiency, select flexible branches
(Ø < 35mm).
- Select a branch far from the stem (see fig. 11)
- Position hook (17), fig.11, perpendicularly to the branch.
- The machine shall be supported only by the harness.
- Speed-up only for period not exceeding 5 seconds.
If not all the olives fall down, change the hooking position
and shake again.
- If the hook protrudes from the branch, set the accelerator
lever to minimum speed and make sure that the
transmission shaft is not moving.
- Hook the branch again, using handgrip (14) fig.11.
- Shake again.
