(following operations must be performed with utmost care by the installation engineer)
ATTENTION: BEFORE STARTING THE TEST PROCEDURE, IT IS NECESSARY TO CAREFULLY CLEAN AND
DRY ALL CONNECTIONS, THE PISTONS AND ALL OTHER HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS OF THE LIFT.
• ADJUSTMENT OF CARRIAGES ALIGNEMENT AND PROPER FUNCTION OF THE MECHANICAL SAFETY DEVICES.
1. Lift the carriages to the maximum height and align them hydraulically by pressing the RAISE pushbutton and the AUTOMATIC STANDING
pushbutton for a few seconds.
2. Check the carriages position: the space between the fi rst tooth of the carriage safety device and the mobile wedge, should be of at
least 10 milimeter.
3. Press the RAISE button for a few seconds, let the mechanical safety devices engage and check that the wedges are blocked on the fi rst
tooth of the relevant carriage.
4. Press for a few seconds and then release the DOWN pushbutton and check that both carriages stop at the same time. If this is not the
case, adjust the carriage P2 by unlocking the jam nut on the cylinder top end and screwing or unscrewing the main nut in order to retard or
advance the carriage stop (each turn is equal to 1,5 mm).
• TESTING OF SAFETY DEVICES (SEE USER MANUAL § 5.1.3)
5. 5. Check the correct operation of the safety devices against the disalignement of the carriages.
6. Check the correct operation of the vehicle anticollision safety device: actuation of the anticollision bar will stop the lift raising
(G30AH1).
• TESTING OF LIFT FUNCTIONS
1) Load a vehicle on the lift and check:
2) Correct hydraulic alignement at maximum height.
3) Correct lowering operation with automatic release of the safety devices (the carriages will raise by 30-40mm before starting the descent)
4) Correct insertion of the safety devices in the automatic mode.
5) Correct operation of FCE: EXCLUSION OF THE SAFETY DEVICES AUTOMATIC INSERTION IF THE LIMIT SWITCH IS ENGAGED.
• TESTING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
1) Lift the vehicle about 50 cm, using the UP PUSHBUTTON and the EXCLUSION OF AUTOMATIC STANDING PUSHBUTTON
(yellow) to avoid the positioning of the lift on the mechanical safety devices
2) Measure the height of the carriages in a well defi ned point and write it down.
3) After about 15 minutes, check the perfect sealing of the connections and other hydraulic components.
4) Measure the height of the carriages in the same point as before and compare it with the previous ones: maximum allowed
difference (less) is 1-2 mm.
