Before moving the saw: Lock the miter
!
CAUTION
lock knob in 45° left or right position. Lock
bevel lock handle. Lock head assembly in the down position.
Never carry the tool by the power switch handle.
Model 3918 Compound Miter Saw is shipped complete in one
box.
Model 3924 Compound Miter Saw is shipped complete in one
box.
1.
Separate all parts from packing materials and check each
one with the "Table of Loose Parts" to make sure all items
are accounted for before discarding any packing material.
2.
Loose parts:
• Quick Action Clamp - Used to clamp work-pieces.
• 6 mm Hex Wrench - Stored in the base.
• 3 mm Hex Wrench - Stored in the handle.
• Blade Wrench - Stored in the handle.
• Miter Lock Knob
• Dust Bag
• 18 V or 24 V Battery Pack
• Charger
• Operating/Safety Instructions
If any parts are missing, do not turn the

WARNING
switch on until the missing parts are
obtained and are installed correctly.
Installation of Miter Lock Knob
1.
Locate Miter Lock Knob from Loose Parts.
2.
Assemble Miter Lock Knob into front of Table as shown
(Figure 1).
Do Not Over Tighten
