Always pay attention to a safe stand. To ensure
this the lateral bars (14) of the foot (4) can be
turned into a suitable position.
5. Initial operation
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to
the operating voltage given on the light.
Now connect the plug of the mains cable (5) to
the mains.
The light can be switched on and off using the
switch (6).
The light can be operated for an unlimited time.
6. Additional attaching options
The hinged bracket (2) can also be attached to
other standard mounting shoes, for example the
accessory shoe of a camera or the Kaiser 1211
accessory shoe (optional feature). This makes it
possible to attach the light to the Kaiser "easy-
fit" shooting table (5845) (fig. D).
Always secure these combinations by rotating
the lock ring (9) towards the slide-in foot.
The hinged bracket (2) can also be attached on
stands and fixtures with 16 mm (5/8") standard
spigot by means of the adapter (3) (fig. E).
In addition the 1/4" tripod thread located in the
slide-in foot (10) of the hinged bracket (2) allows
for attaching the light on suitable stands and fix-
tures with corresponding threads.
7. Maintenance and care
The light is maintenance-free. Make sure that
the front screen (15) is free of stains and dirt. If
necessary remove these before operation.
Clean the light with a soft dry cloth. On no ac-
count use petrol or other solvents.
