Putting into operation
Place the streaming pump into the aquarium in such a way that it will
not cause any damage if it accidentally falls off. So that the pump does
not draw-in any air, it should be mounted approximately 10 cm below
the surface of the water. Set the desired direction of flow by rotating
sideways to the left or right when holding plate is positioned vertically

Care and Cleaning
Unplug the mains plug and make sure that the pump is de-energized.
To remove the pump, gently press the tab on the pump holder away
from the pump and remove the pump by tilting it backwards out of
the holder (Fig. D

opening if they are clogged.
Remove the pump basket by gently pressing the sides of the latch

Thoroughly wash all the pump parts and clean using a EHEIM brush
set (order No. 4009560). Possible limescale deposits can be removed
by placing the pump parts for several hours into a 10 % citric acid
solution. Then rinse thoroughly and put all the pieces back together
in reverse order.
TIP: With the streamON 3000 and 3800, first plug a rubber sleeve onto
end of the axle and place the stopper disk in front of the rubber sleeve
(Fig. D
