Sharpening Pencils:
1.
Hold the sharpener with one hand
2.
Insert the pencil into the sharpening hole and firmly press downward while you hold it
3.
The sharpener will automatically starts sharpening the pencil.
4.
After 2~4 seconds, remove the pencil as the unit will have automatically sharpened it.
Caution:
- Use only standard wooden pencils (6.5-8mm diameter).
- To protect the machine well, we suggest the user to operate it in this way: working is not
recommended to exceed 3 minutes, then the machine should rest 15 minutes at least. Otherwise,
will damage the cutter or shorten the product life
- If the sharpener slows down significantly or stops while sharpening, try applying less pressure. If
this does not help, replace the batteries with fresh ones, following the instructions above.
Care and Maintenance:
Emptying the Pencil Shaving:
1.
Remove the receptacle from the pencil sharpener (this will also disable sharpener).
2.
Dispose of the shavings.
3.
Slide the shaving receptacle cover back into the sharpener.

Caution:
DO NOT immerse main unit in water while cleaning.
DO NOT use any solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinner to clean the unit.
Never insert hand or finger into pencil or receptacle tray opening.
- Always empty the pencil shavings when the receptacle is approximately half full.
- When the receptacle is removed, do not touch the cutter.
- Do not attempt to sharpen pencils while the receptacle cover is open.
- If the receptacle breaks, dispose of the entire unit.

CLEANING THE UNIT:

1. Remove batteries.
2. Use a brush to clean the inside of the pencil sharpener.
3. Wash receptacle with water and a mild detergent.
4. Thoroughly dry receptacle before placing back into pencil sharpener.
5. Clean the outside of the pencil sharpener with a damp cloth only.
