5.Assembly and installation
5.1 Unpacking
Open the cardboard box carefully when installing (do not
use sharp objects when opening).
The cardboard packaging protects the Lift-out chair during
transport:
- open the flaps of the cardboard box;
- remove the armchair's unassembled backrest;
- tear open the cardboard box at the 4 corners to remove the
armchair;
EN6
- remove the protective plastic film and the anti-humidity
sachets.
Inspect the armchair to check for any damage, nicks, tears or
damage to the frame. If you notice any defects, do not attempt
to use the armchair. Contact the distributor or carrier for
instructions on how to proceed.
Remember to recycle all packaging in appropriate
containers. Keep packaging out of reach of children at all times.
5.2 Installation
Leave sufficient room (approximately 50 cm) behind the
armchair to prevent it from coming into contact with the wall
when in the reclined position.
Make sure the armchair is positioned on a flat level surface.
Do not place your armchair near a staircase.
Never position the armchair near a major source of heat:
(fireplace, electric heater, gas heater, oil heater, etc). Do not
expose the armchair to direct sunlight (UV) for a prolonged
period of time.
