The alarm requires power to operate, and will only indicate the presence of
Carbon Monoxide at the sensor. Carbon Monoxide may be present at other
areas.
The alarm may not protect people who are especially vulnerable to Carbon
Monoxide poisoning; pregnant women, unborn babies, senior citizens and
people with heart or respiratory problems. Please seek medical advice if in
doubt.
The alarm is not a substitute for smoke or heat alarms, and is not a substitute
for regularly servicing fuel burning appliances, chimneys and flues.
