cable and plug are in perfect conditions. Also check that the volta-
ge indicated on the appliance is valid for your electrical installation.
-If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug are dama-
ged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself.
Go directly to the authorised JOCCA technical service where they
will replace it correctly for you.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains,
always pull from the plug.
-Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or any
other liquid.
-The electricity supply cable should always be completely unro-
lled to avoid overheating.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any
other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA
technical service.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always
use JOCCA spare parts and accessories.
-Do not use the cable to transport or to raise the appliance.
-Please make sure that the 0/ OFF is pressed before plugging into
the mains electricity supply.
-The appliance should always be unplugged when not in use,
before cleaning the same, of if it does not operate correctly.
-The appliance must not be wall or ceiling mounted. It must
always be placed on a dry flat surface in a well ventilated area.
-Please do not use the appliance near a source of heat, such as
a fireplace, kitchen stove, heating appliance etc....
-Do not cover the air vent with the appliance in operation.
-Do not use the fan without the protection grids or if the protection
grids are not correctly installed.
-Do not use the appliance with wet hands or barefoot.
-Never touch the moving parts of the appliance. Never put your
fingers or any other object in the air inlet or outlet. Never insert any
object that might block or break the appliance.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Appliance assembly and start up:
-Before starting any assembly operation, please ensure that the
appliance is in the O position and that it is not connected to the
mains electricity supply.
-Put the two long supports in a crossed position to form the base
support.
-Then screw down the height adjustment spindle on the base of
the cross with the 4 screws supplied.
-Put embellisher 1 on the base and then screw on embellisher 2
and adjust to the desired height.
-Take the motor and place it on the spindle. To fix it in place tigh-
ten the butterfly nut and bolt that is supplied with this part.
-Put the rear protecting grid in place in the holes and tighten
down the fixing nut to the right as far as possible, then put the bla-
des in place and tighten down the blade fixing nut to the left.
-Finally put the front protecting grid in place in the two top holes
fixing the same with the protection clips.
-Once the two protecting grids are in place, tighten them down
with the nut and bolt and close all the safety clips.
To put the fan blades in place, please take the following steps:
1.-Put in place the rear protecting grille by pushing the studs
through the holes in the grille support
2.-Screw the fixing nut down tightly to the right ("p")
3.-Put the fan blades in place on the motor spindle, taking into
consideration that the blades themselves fit in perfectly with the
two spindle stops (please see illustration)
4.-Screw the blade fixing nuts down tightly ("q") towards the left
5.-Put in place the front protecting grille by fitting together the
hole and the protection clips.
6.-Once the two protecting grilles are in place, fix them down with
the screw and snap down all the safety clips.
Starting up the appliance:
-Please ensure that the ON/OFF switch is in the 0/ OFF position
before plugging it into the mains electricity supply.
