Features of the special keys
The correct function of the special keys will depend on several factors:
Operating system/configuration
The special keys call up particular functions of the operating system. These functions
are not standardised, so that activation under Windows® XP will deliver a different re-
sult than under Windows® Vista® or Windows® 7. This is particularly noticeable in the
case of the function keys. Therefore, in some operating systems/configurations, the
control keys only work if the media player is started; in other operating systems/config-
urations, they only work if it is not started. Check this out with your system, as we can-
not give a standard guide.

Volume control – Increase volume.
Standby mode – The computer switches to power save
mode (depending on the BIOS or operating system set-
ting).
Numeric keypad – Activates/disables the numeric key-
board assignment.
Scroll – Activates/disables the scrolling function.
Page – Performs the Page function.
Page – Performs the Page function.
Home – Moves the cursor to the start of the line.
End – Moves the cursor to the end of the line.
