WORK CLOTHES
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that could get caught in moving parts. We recommend
the use of:
-
Eye protection (safety glasses).
-
Hearing protection.
-
Head and face protection (helmet and mask).
-
Protection for hands (resistant and non-slip gloves).
-
Leg protection (pants).
-
Foot protection (non-slip footwear).

WORK AREA SAFETY

Do not use the machine in extreme temperatures.
Keep the machine away from excessive moisture.
Do not use this machine in explosive atmospheres in the presence of flammable liquids, gases and dust.
Never start the machine in a closed room or enclosure. Exhaust gases and fuel vapours contain carbon monoxide
and dangerous chemicals.
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered, dark areas can cause accidents.
Remove all objects from the work area before starting this machine. Objects near the product may be touched
and projected by the machine causing personal injury.
Keep children, people, or animals away while operating this machine.
When work is performed simultaneously by two or more people, always check the location of others and
maintain a sufficient distance to ensure safety.
Remember that the machine operator is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other people or things.
Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be liable for damage caused by improper or incorrect use of this
machine..

FUEL SAFETY

Fuel and oil are dangerous. Do not inhale or ingest. If you swallow fuel and/or oil, see your doctor promptly. If it
comes into contact with fuel or oil, clean immediately with plenty of soap and water. If your eyes or skin become
irritated, consult a doctor as soon as possible.
Do not refuel in closed or poorly ventilated places. Fuel and oil vapours contain hazardous chemicals.
Fuel and oil are dangerous and highly flammable chemicals. Do not bring flames, sparks or heat sources near the
machine. Do not smoke while transporting fuel, when refilling the tank or when working. In case of fire, extinguish
the fire with a dry powder extinguisher.
Always turn off the engine before refuelling.
Always refuel in well-ventilated areas and never with the engine running, or hot.
If a fuel leak is found, do not start or run the engine until the leak has been repaired.
Make sure the fuel cap is properly closed.
Fuel stored in the carburetor for long periods of time can cause a hard start and increase repairs and maintenance
of the machine.
Always store fuel in approved containers. Do not use fuel stored for more than 2 months, it will make starting more
difficult and produce unsatisfactory engine performance.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE SAFETY
Carry out regular maintenance on the machine. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in
this manual are carried out by the Official Technical Service.
