General Safety Guidelines
Before using this device, carefully read this user manual and keep
it together with the Warranty Certificate, cashier receipt and if pos-
sible, the original package inclusive its interior packing. If you hand
on the device to any third person, include the user manual as well.
• Use the device for private and its intended purpose only. The
device is not intended for commercial use.
• Do not use the device outdoors. Protect it from heat, direct
sunlight, humidity (do not immerse into liquids under any
circumstances) and sharp edges. Do not use the device with wet
hands. If the device gets wet, unplug it immediately.
• Always switch off and unplug the device (pull the plug, not the
cable) when you do not use the device, or when you attach ac-
cessories, during cleaning or malfunctioning.
• Do not leave the device unattended during operation. Always
switch off the device when leaving the room. Unplug the device.
• Regularly check the device and cable for signs of damage. Do
not continue to operate the device in case of damage.
• Do not repair the device by yourself. Please contact authorized
personnel. In order to avoid hazards, a damaged mains cable
must be replaced with an equivalent cable by the manufacturer,
our customer service or any other qualified specialist.
• Do only use original parts.
• Please observe the following "Special safety instructions".
Children and disabled persons
• For the safety of your children, keep any packing parts (plastic
bags, cartilage, Styrofoam etc.) out of their reach.

Don't let small children play with foils for danger of suffocation!
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they have been
given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the
device by a person responsible for their safety.
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the device.

• Do not heat pillows filled with grains, cherry pits or gel in the
microwave. RISK OF FIRE!!!
• Warning: If the door or door sealing are damaged, do not
continue operation of the device until it has been repaired by a
qualified person.
• Warning: Do not repair the device yourself; contact an autho-
rized expert. It is dangerous for everyone but experts to perform
maintenance or repair work requiring the removing of the cover,
which is intended to protect against radiation exposure from
microwave energy.
• Warning: Do not heat liquids or other food in closed containers.
Risk of explosion!
• Warning: Do not place your microwave in a cabinet. Make sure
to leave a clearance for ventilation of at least 20 cm between
each side of the device and cabinets, walls etc.
• Warning: Children and infirm persons must not use the device
without supervision unless they have been given proper instruc-
tions allowing them to safely use the device and to understand
the risks that arise from improper operation.
• Warning: When operating in combi mode, children may only
use the device with adult supervision due to the high tempera-
tures occurring.
• Note: The microwave is not intended for heating animals alive.
• Only use suitable tableware such as: glass, chinaware, pottery,
heat-resistant plastic or special microwave tableware.
• When heating or cooking food in flammable materials such
as plastic or paper containers, it is necessary to supervise the
device due to the possibility of fire.
• Turn off and unplug the device in case of smoke emission. Keep
the door closed in order to quench possible flames.
• Superheating warning: During cooking, especially when re-
heating liquids (water), it might happen that the boiling tempera-
ture is reached but the typical steam bubbles do not yet bubble
up. Liquids do not boil evenly. When removing the container, this
superheating effect might lead to a sudden formation of steam
bubbles caused by even minor shocks and therefore result into
boiling over. Risk of burns! In order to evenly boil, place a glass
stick or something similar, non-metallic, into the container.
• Stir or shake the content of baby bottles and glasses with infant
food and check the temperature before use. Risk of burns.
• Foodstuff with shells or skin such as eggs, sausages, closed
glass tins etc. must not be heated in microwaves, as these might
explode even after the heating has been completed.
• Thoroughly clean door frames/ door sealing and adjacent parts
with a damp cloth in case of contamination.
• Clean the microwave regularly and remove food remains from
the inside.
• In case of poor maintenance of the device the surface might
get damaged, which will impair the service life of the device and
might cause hazardous situations.
